Langata is a constituency in Nairobi County southwest of Nairobi Central Business District and approximately 18 kilometers via Langata Road from the city.
It is further subdivided into 5 wards namely, Karen Ward, Nairobi West, Mugumoini, South C, and Nyayo Highrise.
Langata has many estates including, Madaraka Estate, Nairobi Dam, Sun Valley, Royal Park, Ngei, Jambo, Akiba, NHC Langata, Onyonka, Otiende, Royal Park, Southlands, and many other smaller ones.
