A successfully registered caution is a prerequisite for this application. A withdrawal of caution is the deregistration of a caution by a cautioner. This is the person who placed the caution. This application is initiated by an advocate on behalf of the applicant.
1. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to https://ardhisasa.lands.go.ke
2. On the login page, enter your Ardhisasa or national ID number and password, then click Continue.
3. You will receive a one-time password (OTP) via SMS to the phone number you used during registration.
4. Enter the OTP in the provided box and click Login.
5. After logging in, click on the profile icon to access the drop-down menu.
6. Select the professional account, which has been approved for you as an advocate.

7. On the dashboard, locate the land registration section and click on View All.
8. Under the land registration section, click on Caution as the process you are applying for.
9. You will be directed to the applications page, where you will find tabs for pending, ongoing, completed, rejected, and cancelled applications.
10. Click on the New Application button to begin a new application.
11. Explore the frequently asked questions (FAQs) specific to the withdrawal of caution application.
12. If you are familiar with the process, click Next to proceed.
13. Fill in the required personal details, including the caution entry number.
14. Enter the Ardhisasa ID of the cautioner and click Search to find the cautioners details.
15. Select the category of person executing as the cautioner (either self or attorney).
16. If applicable, enter the power of attorney entry number and click Search to find the attorney’s details.
17. Save the entered details and proceed to fill in the proprietor’s details, including identification type and contact information.
18. Click Next once all details have been entered correctly.

19. Enter the reason for withdrawing the cautioner in the provided text box.
20. Add the reason, such as a completed sale agreement, and review the entered details.
21. Click Next to proceed.
22. Enter any additional details relevant to the application.
23. Fill in the details of the law firm you are representing, including name, address, contact information, and email.
24. Click Next to proceed.
25. Upload the necessary documents in PDF, PNG, or JPEG format to support the withdrawal of caution application.
26. Enter the document name and click Choose File to upload the scanned document.
27. Review the uploaded documents and click Next to proceed.
28. Review all the provided details on the confirmation page.
29. If everything is accurate, click Submit to initiate the application process.
30. Confirm the submission by clicking Yes when prompted.
31. A confirmation message will appear, stating that the application has been submitted successfully.
Both the advocate and cautioner will receive notifications via SMS and email regarding the initiation of the withdrawal of caution application.
The cautioner must verify the application by entering the OTP received and appending their signature.

The advocate will also need to accept representation and provide their signature.
Upon completion, the application will transition to the ongoing tab on the platform.
