This process involves the acquisition of survey plans from the ministry’s digital repository by an applicant. The initiation of this application is not specific to any professional any member of the general public can make the application.
How Make the Application
1. Log in to https://ardhisasa.lands.go.ke/account/login using your user credentials, which include your address identification number or Ardhisasa ID and the password. You will receive a one-time password (OTP) code on the phone number registered with the platform. Enter the code in the OTP prompt box and click Log In.

2. Navigate to the Survey and Mapping Department. You will find various services offered, including new grants, subdivision, amalgamation, resurvey, sectional property survey, and sale of plans.
3. Click on the Applications tab to access the applications page. You will find two tabs: Pending and Completed. All the applications you have initiated will be listed in these tabs based on their status. To initiate a new application, click on the New Application tab located on the top right-hand corner of the page.
4. On the new application page, you will be prompted to select whether to use the person number or the FR number to search for the plan. Depending on your choice, enter the corresponding number in the provided field. Select the desired type of results: PDF plan, coordinate spreadsheet, or both. Click on the Search button, and the search results will be populated.
5. Review the search results and select the View option to see a preview of the plan’s location. If the plan matches your requirements, click on Add. After adding the plan, click on the Submit button to initiate the retrieval process from the digital repository.
To view and download the plan, you must pay the sale of plans fee, which amounts to 200 Kenyan shillings. Navigate to the Invoice tab and click on Pay. A list of payment options will be displayed. Choose your preferred payment method and complete the transaction. Once the payment is made, click on the Confirm button located at the bottom left-hand corner.
After confirming the payment, you will be redirected to the application details page. Here, you will find a Download button. Click on it to access your desired PDF plan and coordinate sheet. You can view and download them as needed.
A key thing to note is that you can search for and purchase multiple plans in a single application.
